Evo Surgix TC Wire Twister Forceps is used for twisting wire or stainless steel sutures together, most commonly when closing the sternum. The serrated TC working surface firmly holds the wire and the ratchet locks jaws into place so the wire can be twisted. This instrument is 6″ inches (15.0cm) in Total Overall Length Size and has blunt, square tips. They are available with smooth TC or serrated TC jaws. Smooth TC jaws will cause the least damage to the needle, however, serrated TC jaws hold the needle more tightly.
